Pompano Beach, Florida
Home Care in Pompano Beach That Turns Up as Promised
Trained aides for washing, dressing, meals and getting about safely — and a named second aide who already knows the plan for the mornings the first one cannot come.
What a household actually needs from an agency
Not the brochure version. The four things that decide whether the arrangement survives six months.
The same face, most weeks
An aide is matched to the household and kept there. Continuity is the whole product.
A plan for the weeks they are off
A second aide is attached from the start and works from the same written notes.
A start date you can rely on
You are told a realistic date on the first call, not an optimistic one.
Somebody to ring when it is wrong
A named supervisor, reachable in office hours, whose job is to change things.
What the hours can be spent on
Eight services. Most households book one and widen it once they can see what an hour buys.
Home Health Aide Services
A trained aide for the hands-on work of the day, plus a named second aide who already knows the plan if the first one cannot come.
What this covers →02Personal Care
Washing, dressing, the bathroom and safe transfers — handled the same way by whoever is on the rota that day.
What this covers →03Companion Care
A person in the house through the long flat hours, arriving on the days the diary says.
What this covers →04Bathing, Dressing & Grooming Assistance
Washing and getting dressed, carefully, at one set time each morning — handled by an aide who already knows the sequence.
What this covers →05Mobility Assistance & Fall Prevention
Steady help with the trips that go wrong — plus a walk-through of the route itself, and the same technique from every aide.
What this covers →06Meal Preparation & Nutrition Support
Shopping, cooking and a meal eaten with somebody there — on the same days each week, so the gaps are predictable and planned for.
What this covers →07Light Housekeeping
Laundry, dishes, bed linen and the bathroom kept on top of inside the visit, so the house does not slide on the weeks the rota changes.
What this covers →08Private Pay Home Care
Set up straight with the household — hourly rate, shortest bookable visit and everything it covers, all agreed ahead of the first morning.
What this covers →Four things we do differently
None of them is the hourly rate, though that is the first question everybody asks.
Cover is arranged in advance
Holidays and sick days are planned for before they happen. A second aide is named on the plan from day one and, where the household wants it, comes to a visit early so the first cover morning is not also the first introduction.
We say how fast we can really start
Some weeks we can pick up a new household in days. Some weeks we cannot, and we will say which it is on the first call rather than booking you in and sorting it out later.
There is a route when something is wrong
A named supervisor, a number that reaches a person in office hours, and an actual answer about what will change. Not a form and not a promise to look into it.
Scope is written down, not assumed
What an aide will do and what they are not permitted to do is set out before care starts, so nobody is negotiating it at the door on a difficult morning.
How it gets set up
Four steps, usually inside a week.
The call
You describe what has stopped working. We say whether this is the right kind of help, and how soon we could realistically begin.
The home visit
Somebody comes and looks at the rooms, the routine and the equipment, and talks to the person the care is for.
The plan and the pair
Tasks, order and risks on paper, with a first aide and a named cover aide attached to it.
Visits start
The rota is shared in advance. When it changes you hear the new name before the morning, not at the door.
Not sure whether it is time yet?
Most households call at some point between the first flicker of worry and the first bad fall. The call costs nothing and often ends with a date.
Put it to us — (954) 314-4195Where the aides work
Pompano Beach and the coastal strip either side of it, plus the inland neighbourhoods west of the Turnpike.
Round sizes are set by travel time rather than by city limits, so a street on the edge of the map may still be straightforward. If you are not sure, the quickest answer is to say the street and the hours you need.
The questions families ask first
Seven of them, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.
Do we get the same aide each visit?
That is precisely what the rota is designed around, and in most weeks it holds. Where it cannot — holidays, illness, a schedule change at your end — the visit goes to the second aide already attached to your plan, and you are told the name beforehand.
What happens if our regular aide is sick or away?
The named cover aide takes the visit. They work from the same written plan, so the order of the morning and the specific risks are not being explained from scratch at the door. You get a message with the name before the visit.
Who supervises the aide, and how do we raise a problem?
A named supervisor holds the plan, reads the visit notes and is reachable during office hours. If something is wrong, say so and you will get a straight answer about what changes — a different aide, a different time, or a change to the plan itself.
How quickly can care start after we call?
It turns on the slots you need and the days you need them, which is why that answer belongs on the call rather than on a page. What we will not do is take a booking we cannot staff and work it out afterwards.
Is there a minimum number of hours per visit?
Yes, and it is stated before anything is booked. Very short visits cost more per hour because the travel does not shrink with the visit, and we would rather you heard that up front than found it on an invoice.
What is an aide allowed to do, and where does it stop?
Washing, dressing, help getting about, meals, light upkeep and company. They do not give injections, dress wounds, change dosages or make clinical judgements. Anything clinical we name as clinical and point you elsewhere instead of stretching the role.
How is the care plan put together, and does it cost anything?
It comes out of the home visit — what happens in a normal day, where it goes wrong, what the rooms and equipment allow. There is no separate charge for building it, and it is revised whenever the situation moves.
One call settles most of it
The hours, the figure, and a realistic date. Nothing is committed on the call.
